What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Operator / Junior Project Manager position at Garner Construction?
Job Summary:
Software Operator / Junior Project Manager role will be a critical role in the organization of quotes and data entry into the pre-determined format and location within company project management software.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Be the information organizer and distributor for all things Co-Construct
- Effectively manage lead in-take, lead qualification, and Sales Estimate scheduling
- Obtain & Record Quote & Pricing information in Co-Construct and Selection Sheet
- Be the final administrative quality control element before handing off projects to Operations and Sales
- Aid in template updates and pricing/verbiage modifications
- Assist the lead designer in communications as needed with clients, vendors, operations, and sales.
- Update the Design Schedule daily in Co-Construct
- In General: Operate with a level of extreme attention to detail
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with computers and phones, especially estimating software, Gant chart style scheduling, and databases.
- Familiarity with "Slack" style message boards
- Detail-oriented focus
- Self-Accountability mindset.
- Ability to sit at a computer for 9 hours per day and remain focused
- Comfortability & Excellence with routine work and data entry
- Desire to learn and grow
- Willingness to be a integral part of establishing new processes and systems in a dynamic environment with rapid change
DESIRED Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of Construction Industry a PLUS.
- Co-Construct Software Experience a PLUS
- Experience with RingCentral, Microsoft Office, Co-Construct, Google Suite a PLUS
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- On-the-job training offered.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk for 9 hours / day, M-F, working in front of a computer and remain focused.
- Be able to commute to jobsites and run errands
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
