RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general building and equipment repairs and maintenance by using a variety of skills, including plumbing, light electrical, carpentry, painting, lighting, forklift duties, and cleaning
• Conduct routine safety inspections on facilities and report any potential issues
• Complete preventative maintenance for buildings and equipment
• Ensure that assigned repair and maintenance projects are completed on a timely basis
• Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs or projects
• Provide inventory records for all maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment
• Document all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
• Drive company van locally to run errands, pick up material and parts
• Assist machine shop team and assembly teams with tasks as requested
• Other responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years or older
• General facility maintenance skills
• Proficient with hand tools
• Knowledge of safe and proper use of hand tools, cleaning chemicals, and equipment
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent work ethic and self-motivated
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving practices
• Attention to detail and quality
• Able to read, understand, and follow checklists, project instructions, and directions to perform duties.
• Effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, stand, pull and reach
• Able to regularly lift and move material up to 50 lbs of weight
• Able to regularly use hands and wrists to tighten, twist and secure items
• Able to perform basic cleaning and maintenance tasks

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
