Responsibilities
Endocrinologists admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with injuries or disorders of the internal (endocrine) glands such as the thyroid and adrenal glands. Treatment includes management of disorders such as diabetes, metabolic and nutritional disorders, obesity, pituitary diseases, and menstrual and sexual problems. Endocrinologists may provide care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with unit policies, as well as in other inpatient units performing consults and providing care in outpatient clinics. Endocrinologists assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of patients with emergent and non-emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services.

Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range for the role is $266,689-$306,774 annually. The range or contractual rate listed may not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and / or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity).
