Responsibilities
To coordinate all the technical activities performed in the Ultrasound Department including, but not limited to ACR, PI projects, patient scheduling, staff scheduling, policies and procedures and exam protocols, etc. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide treatment and care appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

The compensation range for the role is $44.01-$50.78 $2 LEAD/ hourly.

The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
Qualifications
Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent and Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology. Registered Diagnostic Sonographer required.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 years as Ultrasound Technologist.
Required Certification/Registration: Registered Diagnostic Sonographer required.
Physical Requirements: On feet most of the time. Frequent and intense visual activity at least 50 percent of the day. Color recognition (shades and intensities). Frequent lifting and repositioning of patients required. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted. Sitting while preparing reports.
Working Conditions: Frequent contact with patients, patient’s family, visitors, physicians and employees. Works inside controlled lab facilities. Often performing ultrasound exams in partially darkened exam room.
