Responsibilities
Garnet Health Doctors is a New York State, not-for-profit Corporation headquartered in Middletown, New York, approximately 60 miles north of New York City. It is currently the active parent company for two-member hospitals – Garnet Health Medical Center and Garnet Health Medical Center- Catskills. Garnet Health is dedicated to developing specialty services, medical programs, and needed health care services to nearly 450,000 residents in Orange, Sullivan and Ulster Counties.
- Leads and works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Has oversight of Psychiatric inpatient care and the access center.
- 30-bed Garnet Health Medical Center / Garnet Health Medical Center- Catskills 18 beds
- Caseload - 10- 15
- The average length of stay - 10 days
- Psychiatrist be responsible for histories and physicals, but infrequent as patients are normally admitted from the ED & the H&P is already done
- Will on-call coverage with potential weekday differential
- NYS Medical License
- BC / BE in Psychiatry

Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range for the role is $250,037 through $313,693 annually. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
