What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Garnet River?
We are currently recruiting Administrative Assistants for a New York State Agency offices located in Downtown Albany, NY as well as surrounding Albany locations. On-site presence is typically required, with some roles offering a hybrid schedule. The duration is at least 1 year with good potential for extension, based on performance and attendance.
The Administrative Assistant will be expected to be able to function with a great degree of independence in providing administrative and / or customer service support. An ability to function in a fast-paced and results driven environment is critical.
Potential Job Duties :
- Assist with processing of paperwork such as verifying coding of charges and ensure completion of documents.
- Assist with review and edits of contracts - preparation / submission of paperwork , review vendor submissions, possible scheduling of interviews in MS Teams, act as liaison between NYS agency and vendor / customer
- Assist with management of agency office subscriptions and memberships - record payments and maintain spreadsheets
- Assist with invoicing process - review invoices and timecards to ensure accuracy, request adjustments when necessary
- Perform various other duties in support of office operations
Desired skills :
Pay range : $19 - $25 / hour
