Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general labor in outdoor settings. The Landscape Laborer will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our clients' Cape Cod properties.
Duties
- Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing.
- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, and planting.
- Assist with groundskeeping duties such as litter removal and cleanup.
- Install and maintain landscape features like flower beds, lawns, and hedges.
- Install and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways and retaining walls.
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Perform tree trimming and removal as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Must have valid MA driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of proper lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices.
- Experience with tree trimming and tree care is preferred.
- Ability to drive heavy dump trucks and tow trailers of various sizes loaded with equipment
- Ability to dig, build, and maintain various landscape features effectively.
- Familiarity with using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power equipment.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods outdoors.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while following instructions.
