What are the responsibilities and job description for the Right of way Tractor Operators position at Garret's Lawn Service?
Garret's Lawn Service is seeking high quality people with experience in highway/interstate tractor mowing in Douglas, Dodge, and Washington County. Majority of work would start the last week of April Monday-Friday and end the last week of October, but we have opportunities for snow as well. This job will require travel that will vary depending on tractor location. We are seeking people that want to grow with our company. Pay is based on experience. Individuals will be trained with their individual crew while working in a cohesive work environment. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Individuals will work in outdoor environments and will be expected to work cooperatively with other members of the business. Will work with a crew either on mowing, landscaping, curbing and snow.
- Schedule generally M-F some weekends may be required weather depending.
- Performs other related duties as requested or assigned by management.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete job tasks
- Ability to lift 50 lbs of weight frequently throughout the day.
- Must be able to have full range of mobility working in various positions including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Experience isnt needed as we have on the job training, but previous experience is welcome.
- Willing to work Outdoors
- Basic tool and equipment knowledge
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.67 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
