Job Summary: We are seeking a Custodian to perform custodial duties in our buildings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Physical Demands:
The employee must be able to stand for long periods, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects, and talk or hear. The employee frequently must reach with hands and arms, and occasionally sit. The employee must also be able to lift and/or move cleaning supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
The employee will work independently, meeting deadlines and interacting with the public and other staff. A team-oriented individual with strong communication skills is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of all buildings, including classrooms, restrooms, and hallways.
- Clean and maintain assigned workspaces and equipment.
- Shampoo rugs and clean floors.
- Remove trash and recyclables.
- Wash windows and perform other cleaning tasks as needed.
