Job Description: Corporate Sales Team Associate
Garrett Popcorn is expanding and seeking exceptional individual to join our team as entry-level sales agent. In this role, you will actively engage with prospective clients, identify their needs, and provide them with expert guidance on our products. Under the direction of the Corporate Director of Sales, this position will represent the company in a positive and professional manner. You will be responsible for driving corporate sales revenue through strategic planning, relationship building, and impeccable service delivery. Leveraging your sales experience, you will cultivate and nurture relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and group organizers to maximize revenue opportunities. This is a Hybrid-Remote position based out of Aurora, IL.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Create effective sales programs that will increase awareness, promote a positive perception of the business and improve lead conversion rates
Develop relationships with current and potential customers
Understand our market competition
Provide estimated delivery times and pricing.
Processing orders and payments
Participate in sales meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items.
Resolve customer issues in a fair and efficient manner for both parties.
Identify and prospect new business opportunities through targeted outreach and networking.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, fostering loyalty and repeat sales.
Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential clients, showcasing the unique offerings of Garrett Popcorn
Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
Attend local networking events and conferences to build more local awareness and network
All other duties as assigned.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
Minimum 1-2 Years Of Sales Experience In Similar Position
Must have a positive attitude for sales
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Good communication and people skills
Confidence and motivation to work toward targets
Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving
Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well with others and across multiple levels
Ability to readily adjust to changing work environments
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office products
Must possess developed verbal and written communication skills to frequently negotiate convince sell and influence other managerial personnel hotel guest(s) and/or corporate clients.
Experience with professional selling skills desired: opening probing supporting closing
Ability to work both independently and within a team , multi-task, and organize work to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Flexible holiday hours, including extra hours and holidays (Nov/Dec) as needed.
Ability to travel up to 5-10% locally
