Operations & Technology Technician

Summary:           Responsible for assisting with operational and information technology activities. This includes a wide range of systems and software used in all areas of the company.

Requirements:    2 years’ experience in a related back office or technology role.

•  Always be ready to face something new as daily tasks change regularly, and important issues can arise quickly that need resolved.

•  Provide frontline support to employees for various issues related to desktops, software they use, or other ancillary systems we use.

• Assist with the operation of the in-house computer systems, servers, and networks. This includes checking hardware device logs, reviewing user activity, scrutinizing network traffic, checking patching reports, virus scans, confirming and testing backup processes and logging all activity consistently and clearly.

•  Assists in a wide variety of hardware related tasks, from replacing security cameras, setting up new workstations, racking servers, troubleshooting printer issues, and running new cabling are just a few of the different areas.     

•  Help maintain an extensive set of documentation of all technology and processes that continually expand, but include hardware installations, config. changes made, common support issues, routing policies, redundancy setups, security permissions, hardware inventories, end of life tracking, project planning, and more as tasked.

•  Assist in the development and maintenance of extensive recovery planning and incident management. These plans are required to be maintained and tested regularly to keep the Bank’s critical systems operational 24x7.

•  Other assigned duties by the Senior Operations Officer.
