Gartner is looking for a full time Senior Python Developer to join the Corporate Systems Engineering team. As a Python Engineer, you will be developing and configuring SaaS based applications in our HR, Finance and Real Estate systems.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 100,000 USD - 149,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. About The Role
Gartner is looking for a full time Senior Python Developer to join the Corporate Systems Engineering team. As a Python Engineer, you will be developing and configuring SaaS based applications in our HR, Finance and Real Estate systems.
What You Will Do
- Lead the integration efforts for the specified applications, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange between systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement effective integration solutions.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure system architectures to meet business needs.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance and integration capabilities.
- Oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues related to application integrations.
- Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all supported applications.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the software engineering team.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish timelines.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architectures, integration processes, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Sr Software Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on application integrations.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
- Well-versed in SaaS applications, including their configurations and integrations.
- Excellent understanding of APIs, web services, and data exchange formats such as REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, with familiarity in DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Basic understanding of cloud IAM roles, Active Directory, and OKTA.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Nice to have : Experience with Legal compliance, Real Estate , Variable compensation SaaS application configurations or support.
