Responsibilities
- Performs a wide range of contract/grant administration functions to assist the Government PCO/Grants Officer in acquisition planning
- Prepares acquisition strategy plans and briefings
- Prepares Justification and Approval (J&A)
- Assists with source selection plans and other contractual documentation
- Maintains copies of contracts/grants, staffs all requested changes and determines if change applies to other contracts/grants.
- Supports contract/grant closeout actions.
- Awards and administering grants, cooperative agreements, or other related instruments
- Designs, developing, implementing, and interpreting grants/assistance management policies, procedures, and practices
- Provides training, technical assistance, oversight, ethics advice, expertise
- Consults with program officials, awardees, review panels, applicants, recipients, and subrecipients as needed
- Reviews and evaluates adequacy of grants/assistance policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience in grants management
- Experience with NOAA or similar agency preferred
Minimum Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
Location: On-site at offices located in the National Capital Region. Telework may be authorized.
Citizenship and Security Clearance Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- This position requires eligibility to acquire NOAA BI, for which you must be a U.S Citizen.
