Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist OA in the application of Software Engineering to include the application of a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the development, operation, and maintenance of software.
- Evaluate software intensive programs and processes
- Perform software requirements analysis activities
- Software design evaluations and construction reviews
- Conduct software test and evaluation, software maintenance, software configuration management
- Software engineering processes development
- Evaluate software tools and methods analysis
- Perform software quality assessments.
Required Educations, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or similar field
- 7 years of work experience in software engineering roles
- Demonstrable critical thinking, advanced research, problem-solving, and technical experiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technology into layman terms.
- Self-motivated, creative, willing to work as a member of a team, organized and able to manage individual schedule.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
- US citizenship required
Location: On-site at offices located in the National Capital Region, primarily Arlington VA. Telework may be authorized.
Citizenship and Security Clearance Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- MUST be able to pass CBP Background Investigation.
