Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of facilities maintenance, the ability to read schematics, and a commitment to excellent customer service. The Maintenance Person will also play a key role in supervising maintenance projects and leading efforts to maintain high standards within our operations.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural components.
- Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Two years’ general building maintenance required
- One-year Electrical Troubleshooting preferred
- One-year HVAC/R preferred
