Eligibility List
In addition to filling the following vacancies, the purpose of this bulletin is to also establish a pool of Substitute Food Service Assistants to work various hours on an as-needed basis at various school sites. The substitute hourly rate of pay is $17.99.
REQUIREMENTS
• Working-level experience performing routine food service work.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic, weights and measures; basic principles and methods of quantity food serving and storage. Knowledge of basic kitchen utensils and equipment; sanitation and personal hygiene.
• Ability to plan and complete work in accordance with schedules; understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Must successfully pass the Garvey School District Food Services Assistant written test.
• Must successfully pass the application-screening phase.
• Completion of a criminal records check will be required prior to beginning work.
Salary : $780 - $998
