PURPOSE STATEMENTTo achieve and maintain standards of teaching in Career and Technical Education.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe list of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only, and is not a comprehensive listing of all the duties and responsibilities performed by this position.Provides direct instruction in the areas of Graphics and Printing.Coordinates the development and implementation of the Graphics and Printing career and college readiness plan.Organizes and conducts bi-annual Graphics and Printing Advisory Committee meetings.Organizes and implements a comprehensive acquisition plan for Graphics and Printing equipment, material, and supplies.Assures students are provided the maximum educational services obtainable.Monitors learning environment classroom / Graphics and Printing lab on a daily basis.Monitors student progress on a daily and weekly basis.Reviews and produces regular reports on students' progress / achievement.Communicates student discipline and / or attendance issues to School Administrator and / or School Counselor as required.Organizes Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) for the Graphics and Printing program under Skills USA.Develops recruitment programs that eliminate bias and stereotyping of students enrolled in the Graphics and Printing program.Regularly attends professional development activities centered on Graphics and Printing teaching methods and curriculum development and design.Works with parents, students, administrators, and outside district groups and organizations to enable the mission of the school to be articulated.Maintains regular attendance and punctuality.Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient / effective working environment.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESStudents.

Knowledge of :
Career and technical educational instructional delivery methods.Skill in :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years experience in Graphics and Printing. Bachelor's degree preferred. Two (2) to ten (10 ) years experience in education preferred.
CERTIFICATION
Must hold a valid secondary educator's certificate in the state of Indiana.
