What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Construction position at Gary D. Jones Construction?
As a project manager, you will be charged with the overall construction activities for commercial and agricultural projects generally. Some duties will include site inspections, customer relations, subcontractor execution, contract/change order execution, schedule creation, plan review, supervising all activities and tasks, and ensuring the safety and compliance of the crews. Duties also include managing quality control, pushing deadlines, and jobsite safety.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in the general construction field, a firm understanding of general building construction, knowledge of best practices, leadership skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate are also strongly recommended. Must have at least 4 years prior lead or managing others experience.
Will be given a company truck and gas card for use as well as compensation for cell phone usage.
Valid driving license/ID required, ability to pass a drug test and physical examination, as well as background check.
Can also apply in person at our facility in Burley M-F, 8-3PM each day.
