Summary :
The Telecommunications Engineer will lead the early-stage conceptualization, strategy development, and execution of telecommunications, IT, and cybersecurity scopes for medium to mega-scale refining and petrochemical projects. This role involves coordinating with clients, managing third-party contractors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The engineer will also oversee technical specifications, design development, risk assessments, and system integration across multiple vendor platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and develop telecommunications and IT strategies for large-scale industrial projects.
- Collaborate with clients to present strategies and provide progress updates.
- Lead the development of telecom programs through all project phases.
- Oversee third-party engineering and construction contractors.
- Establish technical standards, specifications, and requirements for telecom / IT / cybersecurity projects.
- Review, approve, and ensure quality control of telecom / IT / cybersecurity design packages.
- Apply advanced engineering techniques and resolve complex technical issues.
- Conduct field investigations and provide detailed reports.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the design team.
- Manage network architecture, security, and multi-vendor integrations.
- Conduct risk assessments, technical audits, and design reviews.
