Cashier and Stocker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier/Stocker to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing transactions and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store. The ideal candidate will be passionate about retail, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases.
• Operate cash registers accurately, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the shopping experience.
• Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are well-presented and easily accessible.
• Assist in packaging produce and other items for customers as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Uphold store policies regarding cleanliness, safety, and customer service standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math is a plus.
• Ability to maintain a clean work environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Multilingual skills are highly valued, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Experience in grocery store settings or working with produce is advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 8 per week

Ability to Relocate:
