Gasconade County R-1 School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher to join the GCR-1 team for the 2025- 2026 school year!
The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher provides instruction to learners while creating a safe and nurturing classroom environment designed to promote social-emotional learning along with following each learners’ Individualized Education Program (IEP). The ECSE Teacher would teach children ages 3 and 4 in an integrated classroom setting. Students in our program attend five days a week all day.
An early childhood teaching certificate (Birth - 3) is required. A special education certificate is highly recommended but not required at the time of hire. But applicants must be willing to gain special education certification.
