What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part- Time Bus Driver position at GASCONADE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT R1?
Gasconade County R-1 Schools is looking for a part-time evening bus driver to join our team. This position allows you to be part of not only our team but our community. We seek a driver who is committed to safety, customer service and has a genuine caring attitude for children.
Gasconade County R-1 offers a competitive salary.
In this position, you will drive daily afternoon routes, with the ability to drive additional routes as requested. Must have an active CDL license. Prior bus driver experience is a plus but not required. You will perform a variety of duties including: drive a school bus while supervising students, work with minimal supervision, perform daily pre-trip inspection and maintain the cleanliness of the bus's exterior and interior, make decisions putting the safety and well being of the students first and use a professional approach with interpersonal interactions with parents and school staff. Additionally, you will complete monthly reports and other administrative tasks as needed.
