With a team of over 160 professionals across multiple offices in Georgia and Alabama, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional results and fostering meaningful partnerships.
We currently have an open position for an Entitlements Specialist to work on a range of projects in a variety of local governments. The successful candidate will be focused in land development facilitation and must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in entitlements and/or related fields. The position requires a self-motivated individual with knowledge of land development, entitlements, government relations and project management.
Responsibilities
- Due Diligence Reporting
- Researches and drafts comprehensive land development/land acquisition due diligence reports
- Manages report schedules to ensure deadlines are met
- Local Government Facilitation
- Land Development Permit / Final Plat Facilitation
- Coordination with engineers, contractors and local government officials
- Project Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Participate in daily project status meeting with Supervisor
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Urban, Public Administration, Landscape Architecture or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of zoning and development codes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well with a range of diverse group of clients from developers, contractors, engineers, elected officials, local government staff and the public
- Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at the same time
- Ability to work independently and work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
