About the Company - Gassville Therapy & Living Center is a beautiful, 105 bed skilled nursing facility offering short term rehabilitation, long term care, and Dementia care services. Gassville offers private and semi-private suites and a secure Dementia care neighborhood. The facility is located just outside of Mountain Home, Arkansas just miles away from Bull Shoals Lake, Norfork Lake, and the White River.
About the Role - As the Administrator, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. The primary duties of this job include:
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility’s programs and activities.
- Maintain written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the facility.
- Assist department directors in the development and implementation of performance evaluations.
- Assist department directors in the development and use of departmental policies and procedures and establish a rapport in and among departments so that each can realize the importance of teamwork.
- Interpret the facility’s policies and procedures to employees, patients, family members, visitors, government agencies, etc., as necessary.
- Ensure that all employees, patients, visitors, and the general public follow established policies and procedures.
- Assume the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the activities and programs of the facility.
- Represent the facility at and participate in top level meetings.
Qualifications - A degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or other related degree is preferred.
Required Skills - Must be a licensed nursing home administrator in the state of Arkansas with at least 2 years of experience as a SNF facility administrator or must be an experienced licensed administrator in another state and be able to quickly obtain an Arkansas nursing home administrator's license through reciprocity.
Pay range and compensation package - Competitive annual salary based on years of long-term care experience with bonus plan.
