Maintains current Florida license (ARNP, APRN, PA), ACLSAssumes responsibility for professional development and continuing education.Minimum Requirements:- Very proficient with the EMR- Prefer 3 years of experience as a billing provider- Preference to candidates with GI experience Essential Functions:
- Assists physicians with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients.
- Integrates patient and family education throughout the delivery of care.
- Provides safe and effective patient care under the direction of the physician.
- Assists the Provider in hospitalization and follow-up management of post-hospitalized patients.
- Maintains accurate, legible clinical documentation within the medical records assuring compliance with all guidelines.
- Comprehensively screens patients for care opportunities and collaborates with treating physician and/or APRN to develop plans that meet patients' needs and result in appropriate quality care.
- Assesses the data reflective of the patient's status, and interprets the necessary information needed to identify each patient's requirements.
- Coordinates the care and delegates as appropriate to other team members on a defined group of patients.
- Documents in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner meeting all required and regulatory standards.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Flexible and willing to handle extended hours and on-call responsibilities (evenings, weekends, and holidays).
