What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator position at Gastroenterology Office - Coral Gables?
Patient Care Coordinator needed for busy Gastroenterology practice.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Check in - includes collecting co-pays, consents and verifying and updating patient demographics.
* Check out- includes making follow-up appointments for office, procedures and outside ancillary services and obtaining authorizations for these.
* Explaining procedure instructions to patients and answering patient calls regarding medication and/or procedure questions.
Must be able to periodically travel to our Hialeah office. Must have ONE year of experience.
Experience working with EMR systems preferred.
You MUST speak fluent English and Spanish for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
