JOB SUMMARY :
The GATE Store Food Service Associate ensures customer service is the first priority for GATE operations by providing a friendly and efficient experience for our guests by will performing routine food preparation and customer assistance. Collaborates with the Store Kitchen Manager and Store Manager to control store operations and inventory. Assists customers with finding products and provide customers with product information by assisting with food preparation as directed, operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks. Stocks the coolers and shelves. Ensures a high level of cleanliness and organization at the store. Performs minor maintenance and repairs on store equipment. Operates register to process cash and credit card payments.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient
to communicate effectively with customers and team members
JOB KNOWLEDGE :
Candidate must possess basic mathematic knowledge and be able to effectively follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service. Candidate must have strong customer service skills and gain product knowledge through training to assist customers and to ensure their selection is properly stocked. Candidate will preferably have previous successful job experience in a convenience store, restaurant / fast food or related environment; and have knowledge of Food Safety.
