EDUCATION: Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with clients, members, guests and co-workers.
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Prefer previous cleaning experience and the ability to provide exceptional guest service.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must be familiar with basic cleaning procedures. Must be knowledgeable of common laws of courtesy.
JOB SUMMARY: Maintain top quality cleanliness standards in the Lobby. Provide exceptional guest service to guests using the facility.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Must be able to work on feet, moving about at a quick pace, cleaning for several hours at a time. Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 35 pounds, to include cleaning supplies and a vacuum cleaner. Must be able to clean using cleaning chemicals and wearing rubber gloves as needed.
DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS 1. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays and split shifts.2. Arrive to work on time, consistently.3. Upon entering the property, arrive in proper uniform, crisp, clean and in good repair.4. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.5. Attend all required training, safety courses; attend office and departmental meetings.6. Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment. 7. Keep work areas in a clean and organized condition.8. Learn about care and handling of all chemicals used for cleaning.9. Pick up keys, beeper and assignment from Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift.10. Become knowledgeable about all cleaning equipment and supplies; including cart, vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, bucket, dust pan, duster, linen and terry.11. Report any maintenance problems.12. Notify the Housekeeping Manager or Office Coordinator of any problems.13. Any reasonable request of a Supervisor or Manager.
