They will possess comprehensive knowledge of enterprise data center operations, including advanced electrical distribution systems, static and rotary UPS, emergency standby generators, fire alarm and suppression systems, and monitoring technologies.
The role includes overseeing the scheduling, coordination, and execution of significant planned and emergency maintenance activities. The Data Center Lead ensures these processes are carried out methodically to maintain the reliability of critical systems.
Ultimately, the Data Center Lead is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing operational strategies to achieve optimal availability in data center operations.

Key Responsibilities
Schedule and manage personnel to perform maintenance services, ensuring data center infrastructure meets business requirements as communicated by clients.
Utilize hands-on experience with data center systems, including cooling, power, security systems, maintenance operations, and building management systems.
Lead a Data Center Services team and collaborate with architecture teams on technical engineering, capacity planning, infrastructure project management, and long-term regional planning.
Ensure all services comply with organizational policies and safety standards.
Apply recognized methodologies in service/project management and quality control, such as ITIL, PMP, and LEAN/Six Sigma practices.
Oversee maintenance services in accordance with a comprehensive infrastructure program, including 5S principles (organization, cleanliness, and upkeep of workspaces).
Ensure appropriate personnel are available on-site to deliver required services.
Perform all tasks efficiently while minimizing environmental impact.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
o7 years in data center operations (preferred).
oExperience in a customer-facing role.
oStrong verbal communication skills.
Certifications (Preferred):
oCredential from the International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers.
Education:
oHigh school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, OR an associate's degree, OR a bachelor's degree.
Leadership:
oAt least 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
o3 years of relevant work experience required; 5 years preferred.
