GATE’s internal cross dock is hiring a Delivery Driver. This position is responsible for transporting and delivering product to GATE stores across Northeast Florida.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
- Loading and unloading trucks by using totes and trays.
- Complying with OSHA and other safety regulations.
- Delivering a wide variety of products to GATE locations through different routes.
- Following routes and time schedules.
- Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating a delivery vehicle.
- Following all motor vehicle laws as well as GATE regulations and safety standards.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Experience with a pallet jack preferred
- Ability and willingness to work in a 35 degree cooler environment
- Ability and willingness to begin work at 3:30 a.m. with variable work schedule
- SAFE DRIVING RECORD
- Proof of insurance
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Retail experience
- Ability to work well with a team or as an individual contributor
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma or GED
