The Position:
Gatekeeper Systems USA Inc. is experiencing substantial growth. We are currently looking for a permanent full-time Video Analyst. The Video Analyst will be a key interface between our sales, engineering, and production teams. The position offers opportunities for advancement into leadership roles within video analysis, customer success, or product management, depending on performance and business needs.
The successful candidate will need to be trained on our current processes in our head office in Canada and able to travel between the USA and Canada.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Video Analyst will work closely with the sales and service teams tracking data, creating and analyzing reports, helping with product set ups and producing video upon request.
Specific duties could include:
- Manage requests to set up demos for customers and at trade shows
- Using Gatekeeper software, identify, download and share video clips as requested by customers or customer service representatives
- Utilize proprietary software to track camera system health and status to assist in scheduling necessary service
- Review and interpret video clips
- Utilize field aware software to create service tickets for field technicians
- Detect and report on issues or problems that arise and report service requirements and request to Service Manager
- Respond to customer service inquiries via email or phone
- Investigate and trouble shoot customer issues related to software and video products
- Identify and report actual or potential product deficiencies in software or hardware
- Train customers on products and software
- Interact with internal engineering and sales groups for customer escalations
- Assist systems engineers in the diagnosis and replication of any product related issues
- Identify and promote any customer sales opportunities to the appropriate sales team
- Prepare reports and documentation mapping out failures, stability, and corrective actions
- Provide training and creating training materials
- Follow all Gatekeeper Systems USA Inc. policies, procedures and protocols
- Respond to requests from customers
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications / Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Certification or Diploma in electronics
- Experience with video analysis software
- Familiarity with AI-driven analytics tools
- Customer service or technical support experience in a technology-driven environment
- Fluent in reading, writing and oral communication in English
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Eligible to work in the US
- Able to travel to our head office in Canada and other locations when needed
- Criminal background screening required
Non-technical Competencies:
Ideally you will have excellent team player, interpersonal and written communication skills, be a self-starter, well organized, detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision and to tight deadlines. Key to success in this role will be the ability to collaborate with others (despite conflicting interests), meet customer satisfaction goals, be hands on, think analytically and problem solve effectively.
