The Position:
Gatekeeper Systems USA Inc. is experiencing substantial growth. We are currently looking for a permanent full-time Quality Control Analyst for our Delaware, PA office. The Quality Control Analyst will be a key interface between our sales, engineering, and production teams. The successful candidate will need to be trained on our current processes in our head office in Canada and able to travel between the USA and Canada.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As part of the engineering team, the Quality Control Analyst (QCA) will work closely with the design, sales, manufacturing, assembly, and distribution groups to ensure new and current product specifications are maintained and standards are documented, monitored, and executed. Prior to product release, the QCA will work with the teams necessary to rectify issues that might emerge during production related to product functionality, performance, reliability and stability.
Specific duties could include:
- Conducting periodic audits, inspections, reviews and assessments of processes and procedures to ensure compliance
- Preparing reports and documentations mapping out failures, stability, and corrective actions in production process
- Reviewing and interpreting contracts for milestones and requirements
- Providing templates for documentation outlining processes
- Assisting organization achieve ISO certification
- Developing product test plans and procedures
- Detecting issues or problems that arise in production
- Maintaining and improving product quality by assisting in the manufacturing of the product, and collaborating with other members of the team
- Reviewing functional and design specifications of product and contracts to ensure full understanding of the goal a product is meant to achieve
- Ensuring that approved products meet functional and design requirements
- Monitoring employees to make sure that they work according to the test plans and procedures
- Creating, introducing, maintaining, and monitoring assembly and test procedures
- Providing a point of contact effectively managing the back and forth between engineering and production related to manufacturing process questions, quality concerns and product issues
- Managing and maintaining customer configurations for Gatekeeper products: Auto Wake/MWM/Wi-Fi/DVR
- Following all Gatekeeper Systems USA Inc. policies, procedures, and protocols
- Providing training on quality processes and procedures
- Other duties as required
Education and Qualifications / Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a technology manufacturing environment
- Certification or Diploma in electronics
- Fluent in reading, writing and oral communication in English
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Eligible to work in the US
- Able to travel to our head office in Canada and other locations when needed
- Criminal background screening required
Non-technical Competencies:
Ideally you will have excellent team player, interpersonal and written communication skills, be a self-starter, well organized, detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision and to tight deadlines. Key to success in this role will be the ability to collaborate with others (despite conflicting interests), meet customer satisfaction goals, be hands on, think analytically and problem solve effectively.
