Gatekeepers Construction Group is looking for an hardworking General Laborer to join our construction team.
This is a manual labor position that supports various site operations and is essential to maintaining productivity and safety on active job sites.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform manual labor tasks including raking, shoveling, and placing rip-rap
- Assist in backfilling operations and compacting areas as directed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow instructions from the on-site supervisor or superintendent
- Operate hand tools and small equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform other duties as assigned based on project needs
Qualifications:
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday with potential for overtime and weekend work based on project demands
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
