Located in our Siloam Springs office, you will be an Electrical / PLC Technician.Our Electrical / PLC Technician will troubleshoot, build, test, and maintain complex electronic systems and controls. You will be proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical circuits, PLC programs, and automation systems to ensure seamless operations. Key responsibilities (to name a few) :
- Build and test the functionality of electronic systems and components to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support during equipment failures and emergency breakdowns.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including motors, drives, circuits, and control panels.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in industrial equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning circuits, programs, and control systems to maintain operational efficiency.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components to extend equipment life and prevent failures.
- Perform servicing and calibration of electronic test equipment and control systems to meet industry standards.
- Utilize Allen-Bradley Series to troubleshoot programs for ControlLogix and CompactLogix, MicroLogix platforms.
- Install and troubleshoot a variety of input / output (I / O) devices, including sensors, switches, light curtains, and guidance systems.
- Set up and configure PanelView human-machine interfaces (HMIs) for process visualization and control.
- Assist with wiring and integrating new equipment, ensuring proper connectivity and system functionality.
- Interface PLCs with other industrial control systems such as SCADA, HMIs, and robotics.
- Perform cabinet wiring and ensure compliance with electrical standards.
- Configure and tune Allen-Bradley (AB) Servo Drives for optimal motor performance.
- Set up and configure AC drives to support various industrial applications.
