ABOUT THE JOB
In Chambersburg, we specialize in the assembling hydraulic hose and coupling into finished hydraulic hose assemblies for the OEM markets.- Our process starts with taking the bulk hose, cutting it to customer specification, inserting hydraulic couplings and permanently attaching them using a hydraulic crimping machine.
- A Material Handler will spend most of their day receiving, shipping, and delivering raw materials, manufacturing supplies, janitorial supplies, and other various items. They are also responsible for maintaining inventory accuracies and will perform routine cycle counts.

- 1st Shift (7:00am-3:00pm)
ABOUT YOU
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction
- Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Temperatures may vary in accordance with weather conditions and may be extreme. Gates is managed in compliance with OSHA guidelines and requires all employees to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
