Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment, such as a restaurant or nightclub, and possess excellent communication skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will also take food orders at the bar and booths in the bar.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Assist in catering events as needed, showcasing your ability to work in various settings.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies when necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Toast experience is a plus!) and retail math for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of our menu, weekly specials, as well as happy hour all required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
