Gateway Autism Therapies and Education has an immediate opening for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for Casper, WY. An RBT works one-on-one with a child under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) providing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to treat Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

This position is working in clinic and home settings with children aged  2 to 15 years. We will give preference to those already certified, bachelors degrees, and those with extensive experience working with children who have an ASD diagnosis and their families.

• A Behavior Technician practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA and is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services. 
• Providing pediatric behavioral therapies to children and adolescents who demonstrate a variety of behavioral challenges and have a diagnosis of autism.
• Participate in continual training needed to implement treatment plans including behavior intervention plans
• Attending regular supervision and training meetings with supervisor
• Collecting and maintaining high-quality records for all client contact
• Adhering to exemplary standards of care set forth by the board
• Demonstrating strong communication skills with clients, parents, and other professionals
• Managing a complex schedule, be punctual, and communicate effectively with clients and their caregivers

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience working with special needs children is preferred
• CPR/First Aid/Crisis Management
• Criminal Background Check
• Reference Check
• Bachelors- degree in Psychology, SPED, or related field is preferred
• Vehicle or access to own reliable transportation
• Cell phone and daily email access
• Access to a computer for online training and communication
• Availability to attend meetings and trainings
• Flexible after school schedule

Salary : $23 - $26
