Assistant Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Cinema Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for motion picture.

Duties

• Assist in managing operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Supervise and train staff, including conducting employee orientation and ongoing training sessions.
• Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and balancing registers at the end of shifts.
• Support the interviewing process for new hires, contributing to team growth and development.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with stock management to ensure product availability.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Implement store policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with the Cinema Manager to develop strategies for improving sales and store performance.

Experience

• Previous experience in human and technical management role is preferred.
• Proficiency in math skills for cash handling and financial transactions.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and staff alike.
• Familiarity with cash register systems and retail operations will be beneficial.

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
