Facility Maintenance Painter
Direct Report: Director Marine and Maintenance
Job Description
The Facility Maintenance Painter is responsible for all painting project outside and inside the facility. This would include metal preparation, chipping, sanding, sandblasting, priming and painting boats, building and dock.
Responsibilities
- Project prep work, professionally painting and cleanup of all projects
- To identify maintenance projects at the facility
- Fill our appropriate paperwork and communicate with all personnel involved in or affected by project.
- Should be able to work within the budget and keep projects on track
- Keeping track of inventory regarding paint and supplies to do job effectively
- Help design preventative maintenance schedule
- Check boats and facility daily to identify problems and or projects that need addressed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Possess good time management skills-Be able to prioritize projects
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with management
- Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
