Location : Springfield Residential - 2200 Lake Victoria Dr, Springfield, IL 62703
- Residential Center - Adult Male and Female population
Work Schedule : Mon - Friday, 9AM -5PM; also includes 1 evening shift and rotating weekends
Substance Abuse Clinical Supervisors are responsible for :
Providing clinical supervision to staff responsible for delivering services to individuals with mental health and / or substance use disordersOverseeing client services and ensuring compliance with established program standards and service delivery objectivesAuditing client recordsAssisting in interviewing, selecting, evaluating, scheduling and disciplining assigned staffOrienting and training staffServing as a resource to assigned staff in identifying and resolving complex case problemsAssuming client caseload in response to work load or staffing shortagesOther duties as assignedSupervises assigned staff in hospital settings pursuant to a federal grantJob Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field requiredCurrent certification as a substance abuse counselor (CADC) or higher licensure (LPC, LSW) in state of hire required3 -5 years of clinical experience in the treatment of substance abuse with at least 1 year of supervisory experience is requiredRelated work experience with program specific population (adolescent / adult) and residential treatment setting requiredPhysical Requirements :
Ability to walk and move about the facilities for up to two hours at a time, to monitor and interact with clientsExerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, readAbility to use a keyboard and video display terminal to receive, retrieve, and / or audit information and dataAbility to respond to telephones, and to hear and detect alarms and unusual noisesCompensation (based on experience and credentials) :
