Drivers are responsible for :
- Drives vehicles to safely transport clients to appointments, special events and recreational activities, and to pick-up or deliver equipment or supplies; conducts other miscellaneous business errands as needed.
- Schedules and coordinates transportation needs for assigned facilities or programs by planning and prioritizing trips in cooperation with treatment team members.
- Monitors client behavior during transport, maintains order in vehicle and ensures the safety of passengers; reports client incidents or inappropriate behaviors to treatment team members.
- Maintains documentation of trip mileage, destinations and passenger rosters; fuels and cleans vehicle; performs minor maintenance tasks and schedules periodic vehicle maintenance.
