What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custom Applicator position at Gateway FS Inc?
Summary
Perform a wide range of duties and services primarily at the Ste. Genevieve Location. Primary responsibilities will include general labor, maintenance/housekeeping, and professional application of chemicals/fertilizers. Other duties shall include but are not limited to, operating various equipment, handling of different products, grain/feed operations, and delivering bulk/packaged goods.
Essential Job Functions
Perform quality custom application of chemicals and fertilizers through the effective operation of custom application machinery and equipment.
Perform housekeeping and maintenance to all equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
Operating equipment such as: forklift, loader, trucks, and custom application equipment.
Unloading/loading and stacking of fertilizer, seed, feed, and chemical product and packaging.
Mixing and handling bulk feed and fertilizers.
Handle, load, and deliver: Anhydrous Ammonia, dry fertilizer, chemicals, grain and feed.
Assist in sales and marketing of all products.
Work at various other locations as directed.
Desired Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or a one year minimum of related work experience.
Preferred current CDL (Class A preferred), DOT Physical, and Drug Test

Custom Applicators License
o If you do not have a Custom Applicators License accommodations can be made to obtain one
Basic computer skills
Physical Demands (Reasonable arrangements can be made to meet desired physical demands)
o Be willing to work seasonably long hours.
o Be willing to work in adverse conditions.
o Be willing to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and or crawl for various lengths of time.
o Be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
