Division Controller

Are you a hands-on financial leader ready to bring your expertise to a growing, dynamic company? We’re seeking a Division Controller to oversee all financial operations for one of our key business units, helping drive profitability, compliance, and strategic growth. We’re growing and we need a financial leader who can help us scale.

Responsibilities:

As Division Controller, you’ll serve as a strategic partner to the Division President and operational leaders, overseeing all aspects of financial management, including:

• Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting processes for the division
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Analyze project performance, costs, and margins — and offer actionable insights
• Partner with project managers to improve forecasting and job costing
• Manage division-level audits and internal controls
• Supervise and develop a small accounting/finance team
• Collaborate with corporate finance on consolidations, cash flow planning, and tax support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally within construction or project-based industries
• Huge plus if you have knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, and revenue recognition (percentage of completion)
• Proven ability to partner with operational leaders and influence business decisions
• Strong systems skills
