Highly Skilled Diesel Mechanic Wanted for Gateway Industrial Power, Inc.

Gateway Industrial Power, Inc. is a leading family-owned business with 13 locations across Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin. We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Franksville, WI.

Job Overview:

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines.

Our ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in diesel engine mechanics or a related field. They should be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair medium and heavy-duty vehicles using specialized testing equipment. Additionally, they will maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform other duties as assigned by the team leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test diesel engines for malfunctions or defects.
• Conduct all levels of preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Test vehicles when necessary to diagnose issues or ensure proper operation.
• Identify warranty repairs and document them properly on the repair order.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred).
• At least 2 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar position (preferred).
• Cummins Certified (preferred).
