Medium Duty Truck Technician

Job Duties:
- Perform mechanical repairs on medium-duty diesel trucks
- Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs
- Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are properly working
- Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, motor analyzers, temperature and pressure gauges
- Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Competencies:
- Knowledge and experience with mechanics or a related field
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair medium duty vehicles
- Detail oriented
- Team Player
- Flexibility to meet changing demands
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL driver's license with clean driving record (preferred)
- 2 years' experience as a Truck Technician or similar position (preferred)
