- Book loads/cover freight with carriers (including carrier vetting and negotiation) for the assigned customers sales team by various methods including inbound and outbound phone calls, posting loads to freight boards, etc.
- Build carrier relationships to establish carrier capacity that supports customer service and profitability.
- Manage loads from dispatch to delivery and provide needed updates to customer sales team per company procedure.
- Resolve issues with carriers/loads as they arise and communicate them to the customer sales team and outside stakeholders if necessary.
- Provide you with a competitive base salary, plus bonus potential.
