Position Description:
Gateway Metals Inc., a local distributor of tool steel and mold steels located in Crestwood, Missouri, is seeking an Entry Level Inside Sales Representative to join its sales team. In this position, the employee will be trained to learn the inside sales functions including product knowledge of the items Gateway metals sells to its customer base and other potential customers.
Sales Functions:
- Daily interaction with returning and potential customers
- Responding to customer inquiries via email, phone, etc.
- Processing of customer orders
- Working attentively with customers, sales team, warehouse department, and other departments within the company
- Further understanding the concepts of the business and incorporating business goals to expand sales growth
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to excel both with a team and individually
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience in sales is a plus
