What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Advisor position at Gateway Retirement Solutions?
Gateway Retirement Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Advisor (FA) in the Burlington, Vermont area. Working closely with several licensed insurance agents, the FA will help existing clients and prospects with their investment and retirement planning solutions. In addition, the FA will also be responsible for generating new clients. This opportunity is significant enough that it is possible that this FA could be adding a junior advisor to assist him/her within the next 12 to 24 months.
Through our full-service broker-dealer, Lincoln Investment, the FA will offer the following solutions:
- Fee-based/advisory investment accounts
- Retirement accounts
- College savings plans
- Non-qualified investments
- Insurance
- Annuities
Qualified Candidates will:
- Be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Have a passion for helping others achieve their financial goals
- Be willing to put the best interest of their clients above their own
- Have the capacity to provide multiple solutions to clients
- Have the ability to build and manage client relationships
Desired skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years plus of Financial Advisor experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- FINRA Series 6 and 65 registrations
- State insurance license
