SENIOR TAX

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to :

• Prepares income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, trusts, estates, and / or nonprofit organizations by collecting, analyzing and formatting financial information.
• Reviews previous tax returns and financial documents to identify missing or incomplete information or documentation.
• Conducts appropriate tax research including documentation and codification of facts, law and conclusions.
• Reviews and analyzes all supplied financial information for accuracy and inconsistencies.
• Uses the appropriate accounting software or system to prepare tax returns.
• Submits tax returns for review.
• Maintains understanding and knowledge of changes in tax law by reading professional literature or attending tax seminars and training courses.
• Use of CCH Axcess / Prosystem, Caseware, QuickBooks, Sharefile, SurePrep, RIA Checkpoint, and Microsoft Office.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship is required.
