Job Overview
The Operations Maintenance, reporting into the Managing Director, is responsible for performing a variety of routine semi-skilled maintenance for care centers, including, but not limited to, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical trades work.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition.
- Assemble, repair, maintain, and move furniture, such as desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, and related fittings and fixtures.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of heating, electrical, and air conditioning equipment; replaces filters; identifies and reports more complex maintenance needs to supervisor.
- Manage and work with outside vendors or skilled trades to oversee projects and facilities needs and upgrades.
- Inspect facilities and grounds for safety and security; identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to supervisor.
- Follow safe working practices and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required.
- Perform custodial tasks.
- Assist with structural pest control measures.
- Perform related duties, as assigned.
Education, Training & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five years in general maintenance or construction management
- Post-secondary degree/ Certifications preferred

Working Conditions
- Regularly bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, sitting, repetitive motion, hand/wrist/finger motion
- Occasionally lifting/moving 50 lbs
- May occasionally be exposed to elevated noise levels, such as from office equipment or when visiting a Care Center
- May occasionally be exposed to elevated heat levels when visiting a Care Center Working in inclement weather, to include cold/hot environments.
- 75% travel required.
